Vicki Renee Crittenden
is a Texas-based artist and educator whose faith has guided her journey in art. Her work explores the sacred connection between the physical and spiritual realms of creation through themes that intertwine nature, faith, and human experience.
Her practice centers on the tree as a symbol of connection, consciousness, and transformation, serving as both subject and metaphor for unity across all life. Through luminous sculptural forms and layered surfaces, Crittenden creates immersive works that invite viewers to imagine a world bound by light, energy, and spiritual resonance.
Crittenden is currently pursuing an MFA in Painting at the Savannah College of Art and Design while teaching high school in Fort Worth, Texas. She plans to continue teaching and pursue a career at the collegiate level, deeply believing in the power of creativity to expand minds and inspire future generations.
